💡 What Is Confidence Academy?

Confidence Academy is a year-round academic and personal development program currently in the planning and development phase.  Designed to uplift girls ages 12–18 from underserved communities. We provide free after-school tutoring during the school year and a transformational 6-week summer camp that teaches life skills, confidence-building, and leadership.

This program was created to ensure that every girl—not just those with access—has the tools, mentorship, and belief in herself to thrive.

📘 What We Offer:

📚 After-School Tutoring (Fall–Spring)

• 2–4 days/week academic support

• Focus on core subjects: reading, math, writing, science

• Small group and one-on-one tutoring with certified educators & mentors

• Homework help and academic confidence-building

☀️ Life Skills Summer Camp (6 Weeks)

• Workshops on:

  • Self-esteem & identity

  • Financial literacy

  • Healthy relationships & boundaries

  • Communication & public speaking

  • Leadership development

  • Wellness & self-care

• Field trips, guest speakers, and creative enrichment activities

• A safe space to grow emotionally and socially

Many girls fall through the cracks—not because they lack ability, but because they lack support, encouragement, or opportunity. Confidence Academy bridges that gap by creating a consistent, empowering space that celebrates each girl’s potential and gives her the tools to succeed in school and beyond.

We believe when girls feel seen, capable, and connected—they rise.

• Girls ages 12 to 18 (Middle and High School)

• Living in the Hampton Roads, VA area

• Open to learning, growing, and building confidence

• No cost to participate
